Assessment
An
evaluation is the necessary first step in figuring out
why your child learns differently and what to do about
it. A comprehensive examination of psychological functioning
involves administering, scoring and interpreting tests and
inventories, behavioral observation, client interview and
detailed history and an analysis of prior educational,
medical, or psychological records. Instead of just treating
the symptoms, figuring out the cause is essential. With an
exact diagnosis, a precise and successful individualized
action plan can be developed.
